To help Sawyer deliver an amazing booking experience for customers, we charge a flat service fee when a booking is confirmed. There are two different fees depending on where you place an order.
A $2.99 Sawyer Booking Fee is currently applied to all orders placed on the Sawyer Marketplace (hisawyer.com) and is shown during checkout so you know what to expect. This non-refundable fee is applied once per order and is not applicable on future recurring charges such as automatic billing, payment plans, and membership fees or on orders $30 or less*.
A $1.99 Sawyer Booking Fee will be applied to orders placed on business sites that use the Sawyer Widget. This non-refundable fee is applied once per order and is not applicable on future recurring charges such as automatic billing, payment plans, and membership fees or on orders $30 or less*.
Customer booking fees help support Sawyer’s regulatory, security, and operational costs as well as help us continue to provide premium customer support to educational business owners who partner with us and customers who purchase on the Sawyer platform.
You can view the booking fee on every applicable order at checkout, in your order confirmation email, and on your order receipt when viewing your My Account orders page.
Note: Each provider featured on Sawyer is an independently owned business that lists their services and schedules on our booking platform. The pricing and fees associated with the cost of services booked directly from the business are separate from the Sawyer Booking Fee.
*Booking fees may vary and are subject to change. You can view the fee total before completing your order at checkout. For marketplace purchases that contain bookings across multiple businesses within a single transaction, you will only incur one Sawyer Booking Fee. For example, if your order on the Marketplace contains a purchase of three unique activities across three unique businesses, you will only be charged $2.99 once at checkout.
