If a bill is not successfully settled, our system will send both you and the business provider an alert for follow up action. Typically when this happens, the best thing to do is to confirm the billing information on your account.
- Click on the Welcome tab at the top right. It will say Hi, [Name] once you have configured your personal information on the site.
- Click on Account to view your Payment Method on file.
- If the card on file is the one you want to use to process billing, you may need to contact your credit card or banking institution to see if there is a reason for the transaction not going through successfully.
- If you need to update the card on file, you can click on Update and change the payment method stored on your account.
The payment processor will continue to make daily attempts to reprocess the billing until the payment is captured. If a payment is still unsuccessful and you do not edit your payment method or cancel your account, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts, authorizing us to continue billing your payment method, as it may be updated, including if you attempt to create a new account. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates.
If we cannot charge your account, we reserve the right, but are not obligated, to terminate your access to Sawyer or any portion thereof.
